PREAMP – Controls the input signal strength.
TRIGGER – This a voltage divider control, which directly affects the sensitivity of the PLL. It’s most sensitive at the 12o’clock position, but in this position, it will cause the squarewave to fire. For maximum sustain it’s best to set this as close to the middle, but not so close that you here the unit generate noise. Swinging to the + or – side augments that side of the wave. NOTE: This control is directly interactive with the preamp, i.e. the higher the preamp setting, you’ll have to set the trigger further from the middle to kill any squarewave noise.
MULTIPLY / DIVIDE PHASE switches – These control the priority between the squarewave, and the multiply or divide voices.
LOOP SPEED switch – These control the amount of note ramp up, and decay. There are three settings, 1 being the shortest ramp/decay, and 3 the longest.
LAG – This works in conjunction with the Loop Speed switch. For each position of the Loop Speed, the Lag control increases/decreases the ramp/decay for that position. NOTE: This control is interactive with any C.V. input as well, changing the pitch of the note produced by the VCO.
RESPONSE – This controls how quickly the PLL locks onto a note. NOTE: This control is directly interactive with the LAG control. If note ramping/decay is desired, setting this too low will prevent the PLL from picking up the note to
ramp/decay. NOTE: This control is interactive with any C.V. input as well, changing the sensitivity of the PLL to the note produced by the VCO.
LOOP TRACK – This controls how tightly the PLL locks onto, and tracks a note. At the minimum position the note produced will have a vibrato quality to it. NOTE: This control is directly interactive with the LAG control. If note ramping/decay is desired, and you increase the LOOP SPEED and LAG controls, do not set the LOOP TRACK too high. Too high of setting will lock the PLL onto the note too hard, not allowing the note to ramp/decay.
MULTIPLY selector- Sets the upper octave interval voice desired.
DIVIDE selector – Sets the lower octave interval voice desired.
SQUAREWAVE VOLUME- Controls the volume of the SQUAREWAVE output.
MULTIPLY VOLUME – Controls the volume of the MULTIPLY output.
DIVIDER VOLUME – Controls the volume of the DIVIDER output.
SQUAREWAVE SHAPE – Controls the tone of the SQAUREWAVE.
MASTER VOLUME – Controls the total volume output of the unit.
